An Air Ministry spokesman said last night that the weapon was dropped by a four-engined jet Valiant. Its crew were:
	Captain. Wing Cdr. KENNETH G. HUBBARD, 36, of St. Leonard's Road, Windsor, squadron commander.
	Co-pilot, Flying Offr. ROBERT L. BEESON, 26, of Porbrook, near Portsmouth.
	Navigator and bomb aimer, FIt. Lt. ALAN WASHBROOK, 36, of Troy Street, Blackburn, Lancs.
	Navigator, Fit. Lt. ERIC J. HOOD, 27, of  Chippenham, Wiltshire.
	Air Electronics officer, FIt.-Lt. EDWARD LARAWAY, 36, of Ribbleton, Preston, Lancs.
	The Valiant is from No. 49 Squadron, Bomber Command. It Is normally based at R.A.F.. Wittering. Northants
