WING - COMMANDER K. G. Hubbard whose parents live at 47, Gordon Avenue, Thorpe, is seen here with his father and mother at Buckingham Palace after receiving the A.F.C. Wing Commander Hubbard piloted the Valiant which in May last year dropped the first British H-bomb in the Central Pacific. An old boy of Norwich Technical School, he already holds the O.B.E. and D.F.C. His home is at Windsor. For a time he was in command of an R.A.F. station in Iraq. |
