       (b) Radio Aids to Navigation      All route navigational aids were employed without difficulty and aircraft equipments remained serviceable throughout the return phase.

5.     Aircraft Electrical Services   One generator (XD 818) and one type 350 inverter (XD 822) required to be changed during the transit/detachment period. Other unserviceabilities were of a minor nature and concerned  small components in electrical services control circuits. In only one instance was a sortie cancelled, this was due to a Q3 interlock relay insulated mounting cracking and permitting the relay to remain in a de-energised state. With the exception of the incidents referred to above electrical services were, in general, very satisfactory.
