Wing Commander Hubbard. O.B.E.. D.F.C. whose parents live in Gordon-avenue, Thorpe, Norwich, joined the R.A.F. in 1940 and has had a distinguished career. |

He served in Italy, commanded No. 104 (Lancaster) Squadron in Egypt, and in 1947 he was appointed deputy officer commanding flying at the Empire Air Armament School. |

Later he commanded R.A.F. station Shaibah, Iraq, and in 1953 was appointed personal staff officer to Air Chief Marshal Sir Francis Fogarty. |
