My father was in Christmas island for operation Grapple Z 1958. I work as a freelance editor/ web and graphic designer and I am in the early stages of planning a 10 min documentary of my dads story in Christmas island. My dad (David Watkins) has agreed to do the documentary and we have made a start. I wondered if any members had any access to high quality (royalty free) video footage of the tests or any home movie footage of island life (I would convert relevant 8mm cine to a DVD for free). Or if anyone else would like to be in it?

I DO HAVE A 8mm CINE FILM ,WHICH I TOOK MYSELF 57-58 ON CHRISTMAS ISLAND , WHILE
SERVING IN THE RAF TRANSPORT SECTION . I DONT KNOW OF ITS CONDITION AND MAY NEED
