    Managed to find two quite large coconuts in the plantation this morning. Am having to get some paint in order to send them home. Found that all parcels to Blighty are liable for duty.

    As I write this the latest mail plane from ‘Lulu’ has just over and all the lads jumped up and down Waving. Bet the pilots felt like Angel Gabriels.

    Today has been very hot and most of us off watch have spent the day sleeping. The general feeling seems to be in favour of getting drunk to celebrate the coming of Xmas. So it looks like being a wet evening. Money seems to go as fast as at home. Good job cigs are cheap.
