16 Dec: Sunday (9.00 pm)

    Got buzzed this morning. It was 1.00 am I got to the W/T station when I should have been on at about 12.00 pm. Luckily, Mac was in charge so it was OK. Went with Don and Tom to the Yachting Club at Port London. 

    We rowed one of the boats as the sails were out of action. Landed on a small island in the middle of the huge lagoon. The lagoon is shallow enough to push the boat in places and about 200’ deep in others. 

    Saw big Manta Ray and a shark on the journey back. Rigged up a sail help us made up of 3 towels and a shirt. Got another overdose of sun.
