15 Dec: Saturday (6.45 pm)

     Did OK today with Honolulu. Worked steady all afternoon – am hoping it will be quieter when I go on again tonight. Had a heck of a shock when we visited the gift shop for first time today. 

     There were no watches there below £10 and little statues cost from 35/- up to 88/- each. Today has been particularly and it seems to drain your energy – making walking hard work. W/O Elliot flew over Jarvis Island today and says it’s nothing but coral and sand.
