14 Dec: Friday (11.00 pm)

    Been on two shifts today. One was from 7.30 pm to midnight. About nine o’clock I received a letter from Pa and a Xmas card from Vera, Harold & Leslie. Was in touch with the aircraft which bought in the mail about 2 hrs before it arrived. Got paid the back allowance money from our trip out which amounted to £1-6-3.

    Made silly mistake of not logging times of three messages in W/T log. Have to see the sergeant about it tomorrow morning. If I land in trouble, the boys say they are going to get up a petition.
