6 Dec: Thurs (9.00 pm)

     Arrived in Frisco at about 10 pm this morning after super trip. It was a bit rough over the Sierra Nevada mountain range but it was worth it to see the terrific sight.

    The Yanks have put us up at the Moffat Naval Air Station thirty miles from the city. Don and I decided to hitch hike in and we picked a queer guy to travel with. He insisted on buying us a bottle of bourbon for the journey. We had a great time down there and hitched a lift back. 

     One near escape at Chicago when kite almost came down on state highway due to thick mist.
